The state of hypnosis is one in which you become highly responsive to suggestions through very selective and hyper-focused attention. Hypnosis is a very natural state of being. In fact, you normally and naturally move in and out of hypnosis multiple times a day. It is the state of being that occurs just before you fall asleep at night. It has kinda like daydreaming, this hypnotic trance state, only deeper and in a more focused way. Have you ever driven down the road only to realize you don’t remember the last few miles? That’s a very light state of hypnosis.

Hypnosis will never happen if you don't want it to. You are always in control, no matter what. In fact, not everyone can allow themselves to trust themselves enough so that they can access the deep inner healer within themselves that the subconscious holds the key to. To be able to be hypnotized is a strength, not a weakness.

I did not always understand what hypnosis is. I've seen the kind of hypnosis that's done on stage and thought to myself that that was complete bull****. I've also had a lot of experience with guided meditations, and when I began looking into self-hypnosis techniques I felt like they were the same thing.

What I have come to understand now about hypnosis is that the stage hypnosis is only real if the person that the hypnotherapist picked is very ready and willing to participate and allow themselves to become hypnotized and then cluck like a chicken, for example. If that same hypnotherapist erroneously picked me to go up on stage and then asked me to cluck like a chicken, there's no way that I would of obliged. Those hypnotists know who in the audience is extroverted and silly and who wants the audience to laugh at them.

When it comes to the difference between hypnosis and meditation... there truly isn't one. This is especially true when comparing guided meditation and hypnosis. Hypnosis and meditation are a practice in reprogramming the neuro-pathways in the mind in a way that you choose. Hypnosis is a practice in reprogramming with many avenues to do this. Avenues that go beyond positive affirmations, such as regression therapy, where you follow the subconscious to a previous life that is in connection to the issue at hand. Once this event is discovered, coaching and energy work begin the process to heal everything connected to that issue.

Through the door of the subconscious, hypnosis shows you the many facets of your personality and guides you in ways to reprocess past events in a way that teaches that past version of you how to let go, forgive, and heal now.  I use hypnosis in combination with coaching and Reiki, most often, to allow your subconscious to guide the session. It's because of this process that I know that no matter what the issue is that your coming to me for healing, we will find the "real" issue or issues that need healing because your subconscious knows how everything is connected. This is why I strongly encourage all of my clients to commit to a weekly or biweekly program where we can continue this unraveling of past "muck" that has been hiding your true light this whole time whether you were aware of it, or not. You will feel lighter, freer, and truly yourself in a much deeper way than you can imagine right now, if you commit to your continued progress.

I use hypnosis tools such as...

  • current life regression

  • past life regression

  • NLP techniques while the subconscious is open and willing for healing

  • coaching the inner child

  • core transformation coaching

  • parts of the inner voice coaching

  • and more
